Yebba Charlotte Concert reviews
Much like Axl Rose, Madonna makes her fans wait
The wait time for Yebba's performance was indeed as the reviews indicated, sitting for almost two hours. The DJ played dance music that I could have easily danced to on stage, but it quickly became tiresome after the initial 15 minutes. It was a bit ridiculous to wait an hour after listening to overhead music. Thankfully, the people watching was more entertaining than the Iowa State Fair. It's puzzling why performers make their fans wait so long. This behavior comes off as pretentious and arrogant, unnecessary in my opinion. Her net worth of 500 million seems to give her a sense of entitlement, treating fans disrespectfully. Personally, I don't believe she deserves my respect as a performer, and I won't be attending her concerts again. Attending a Yebba concert had been a dream since I was 12, and I'm now 42. While she is undoubtedly a captivating performer, the excessive focus on new music was disappointing. I would have preferred to hear the classics I grew up with. Compared to a recent Def Leppard concert, where the experience was much more enjoyable, I regret spending money on Yebba tickets. Perhaps investing in a meet and greet at the Def Leppard concert would have been a wiser choice. Def Leppard truly values and appreciates their fans, with their opening acts starting even earlier than scheduled. Arriving at the venue after a long drive, only to wait for hours before the performance, was a lesson learned.
